Pictures are Worth THOUSANDS OF WORDS!
Hoover and Valentina finally understand the ghost shrimp are food!
Upon arriving home, Hoover had one of the shrimp lengthwise in his snout!
He frantically swam over to me, wishing his tail back and forth at a speed I've never witnessed before in all my years living with my seahorses!
Seeing is believing!
Get ready for some great laughs as the seahorses discover ghost shrimp, if they can catch them, are eventually edible!
Ummm...yes...that "transparent tubular" shrimp is extending out of Hoover's snout!
He was so very, very panicked about it having no idea what to do about it!

Friend or Foe?
Early November 2012, I was sent some live "ghost shrimp" through the mail for my seahorses to try.
My Floridian friend, Phyllis, was sure they'd gobble them up. They are considered a yummy delicacy to seahorses.
Into the tank they went.
My seahorses Valentina and Hoover did not know what to make of them.
They sniffed at them.
They inspected them.
But they did not eat them.
The shrimp had no fear.
They took leisurely strolls past the seahorses.
The seahorses heads followed the shrimp as they walked by.
There was no aggression....initially...
Why, they even slept together.
In the first 2 photos, you can make out the ghost shrimp on the right and the seahorse on the left.
Ummmmm......
Yeah!
Tune in!!!!!!

Update! Seahorse Photos...
All this time, I have been posting photos to my posts!
Enjoy the few below...
And just imagine!
I am still at it!
Just think of all the joy you'll get out of it!
Keep Blogging!
Josephine
Just to mention...the 3 photos have more of an artistic bent to them.
I observed the seahorses after dark and had to capture their beauty when the lights were out!
God's magnificent creatures!

Never mind -WHERE AM I? WHERE ARE YOU????
Can it really be September 2012 already?
Yup...it is!
If you are wondering where I've been, I have been~~>> "learning" how to post photos of my beloved seahorses.
Instructions in hand, I am S~~L~~O~~W~~L~~Y~~
beginning to post photos.
I began with my one of my first posts about the
CROWN OF ROYALTY possessed by every seahorse and unique only to them.
My plan is to make a dent in the photo postings...
AND THEN...
find victims...
Oops...
NO, NO...
find readers for my blog.
My goals are ~
to find comrades who also love seahorses,
to get comrades interested in seahorses;
not only for them to dedicate themselves as having them as pets, I mean, that would be very cool...
but also to also create awareness about how endangered these docile, loving, intelligent, mystical, amazing creatures are.
Look for new posts here and there...
but not everywhere!
In addition to that, I will try to add to my profile which is presently pretty blank!
Okay...lovers of seahorses and potential seahorse lovers,
(where ever you might be in this big globe of ours...
we are global you know!)
I'm hitting my photo gallery to better enhance the blog, make it more interesting...
So, it will be your blog too!
God Bless...us all!
Hey, here is an update!
The date is January 3, 2013!

May all our dreams come true!
Yeah...you are well aware of my dream...
Its to get some folks reading my blog and commenting!
Soon I will be to the point of having enough posts with photos that I'll somehow, someway get my word out about:
SEAHORSE TALK 101...

Never give up!
It will happen!
